How credits work
Credits are your service allowance. Each successful check costs one credit per two submitted words, rounded up, with a minimum of 100 credits. Rechecking a draft uses credits again. Successful rubric extractions beyond the included allowance cost 200 credits each. Failed or unvalidated checks are not charged. File, page, and monthly check limits also apply; a credit balance is not a guaranteed number of checks.

Yes. Upload your teacher's rubric as a PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, JPG, or PNG file, then review and confirm the extracted criteria before checking your draft. Use only material you have permission to send to an external service.
Is the estimated grade my official result?
No. RubricLock estimates a score from your confirmed rubric and saved work. Your teacher may mark differently. It cannot guarantee accuracy, a grade, or an improvement. Follow your course's rules about AI-assisted feedback.
What can I do with the free plan?
After email verification, the free plan includes rubric-based feedback, 2,500 credits and 2 successful rubric extractions each UTC month, and up to 3 active assignments. Default file and page limits are 10 MB per file and 10 pages per submission; credit, grading-request, and storage limits also apply. No card is required. What happens to my rubric and draft?
Your rubrics, saved work, and reports are stored with your account. Relevant content is sent to the configured AI provider when the workflow needs it. A share link lets anyone with that link see its included report fields until it expires or you revoke it. Provider copies and backups may follow separate retention rules.
